We are a group of 10 friends with a wealth of local knowledge. Our accommodation is individual properties set close to the Jurassic Coast between Lyme Regis & Bridport and inland to the rolling downs above Beaminster.
Each property is very different and between us we can offer peaceful hideaways, walking access to the sea, working farms, fishing lakes on site and stunning views from your window. Where possible we use own or local grown produce. The area is ideal for walking, from leisurely strolls to more challenging cross-country hiking. The ever changing scenery never fails to delight whatever time of year you visit.
Our beautiful area has been as featured in a television series, called Broadchurch, and the World Heritage Coastline looks great on TV but it's even better in real life!
West Dorset is a great place to relax and unwind and well known for its local food, it also offers a wide variety of arts and crafts and has a history going back to the Iron Age. Take a bracing walk along our stunning Jurassic coastline and enjoy the autumnal views from the rolling hills inland.
Savour a leisurely lunch, be organised and get some Christmas shopping done, visit our vintage scene, or places of interest (many open all year round, museums and galleries included), catch up with family or friends, lots to see and do, and always a warm welcome from all of us in the Countryside and Coastal group.

Our Location
West Dorset is a “Foodies” paradise with lots of excellent places to eat, including renowned sea food restaurants. There is an abundant choice of village pubs and cafes dotted around, home made produce available in many.
Attractions include country houses & gardens, animal parks, arts & crafts, museums & galleries. Lyme Regis gives the seaside experience and along with Charmouth some of the best fossil hunting in the world. Bridport has twice weekly street markets and a harbour at West Bay. Beaminster is a characterful old market town with independent shops. Within easy reach are the historic towns of Dorchester, Sherborne, Weymouth and on the coast Abbotsbury, known for the Swannery and Sub Tropical gardens.
Whatever the season, whatever the weather, there's plenty to do and see.
